At Lifdri, we serve families and communities during one of the most difficult moments of their lives. We are deeply committed to delivering a high-quality, respectful, and dignified service. This policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and compassionate.
Because our service involves custom digital work (the design, formatting, and publication of a personalized webpage), our refund policy reflects the labor-intensive and bespoke nature of each memorial. This policy complies with the FTC Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Rule, applicable state consumer protection laws, and the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) as applied to service contracts.
Before Work Begins: If you cancel before Lifdri has commenced work on your memorial page, you are entitled to a full refund.
Once Lifdri has begun designing or producing your memorial page, the following applies:
| Refund Stage | Eligibility |
|---|---|
| Work commenced, page not yet delivered | 50% refund of the one-time fee |
| Draft delivered and under client review | No refund — revisions will be offered |
| Page published and live | No refund |
Work is considered to have "commenced" once our team has opened and reviewed your submitted materials, which typically occurs within 1 business day of a complete submission.
We stand behind the quality of our work. If your completed memorial page contains:
If you are genuinely dissatisfied with the final product due to a demonstrable failure on our part to deliver the agreed service, please contact us within 3 days of delivery and we will work with you in good faith toward a satisfactory resolution, which may include additional revisions or a partial credit.
Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:
To request a refund or raise a billing concern:
We encourage clients to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with their bank or card issuer. We are committed to resolving disputes promptly and compassionately. Chargebacks initiated without prior communication may result in suspension of service access while the dispute is reviewed.
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable state consumer protection laws. California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Legal Remedies Act (CLRA) and the California Business and Professions Code.
